TSAG is the key isolator material of the next generation fiber laser. As an ideal visible and infrared magneto-optical crystal, TSAG has the advantages of high Verdet constant, excellent thermal and mechanical properties.
Terbium scandium aluminum garnet (TSAG) crystal is an ideal magneto-optical material, suitable for visible and infrared wavelengths (wavelength range: 400-1600nm). TSAG crystal has the advantages of high stability, good thermal and mechanical properties, which is essential for the next generation of high-power lasers.
Compared with TGG crystal, TSAG has higher feld constant and lower absorption loss, which makes the isolator more compact and is an ideal material for high power optical isolator.
Main Advantages:
Verdet constant 20% higher than TGG (48radT-1m-1 @ 1064nm)
Low Absorption(<3000ppm/cm @ 1064nm)
High power laser Application
Low thermally-induced birefringence
Make isolator more compact and smaller
Typical applications:
Faraday rotator
optical isolator
